About
Understand My Child was created to help parents feel informed, confident, and prepared when reading IEPs, evaluations, and school paperwork. We translate technical language into clear, parent-friendly explanations so families can better understand what is being said, what it means, and what questions they may want to ask next.
We do not provide legal advice, replace school teams, or make eligibility decisions. Our role is to make information easier to understand so parents can participate more confidently in conversations about their child.
