Evaluation Translation

An evaluation is the report your school produces describing how your child is performing — scores, observations, and findings. An IEP is the program the school then offers based on that evaluation — the services, goals, and accommodations. They come at different stages, which is why our tiers separate them: Tier 2 helps you understand the evaluation; Tier 3 helps you understand both the evaluation and the resulting IEP, with meeting prep included.
